    Accepting the fact that every child is special and needs to be treated in a special way, the Embassy along with Department of Education, MASHAV and MCTC in cooperation with Save the Children, UNICEF and UNESCO Nepal, organized a training on “Early Childhood Development” (ECD) from 5-16 December 2011.

    The objective of the training was to provide the concept of Early Childhood Development itself to the trainees. It was aimed in providing in-depth knowledge and skill on pre-literacy and pre-numeric; the emergent literacy. ​

    Ms. Sarah Wilner and Ms. Aviva Ben-Hefer, ECD experts, from MCTC, Israel, were the trainers of Master Training of Trainers (ToT) on ECD.  A total of 28 ECD trainees coming from different parts of Nepal benefited from the training.
