Training on Public Health

  •   Community Oriented Primary Care and Mother and Child Health (29 Nov – 7 Dec 2011)

    Focusing on the maternal and child health, the Embassy of Israel along with Dhulikhel Hospital and MASHAV organized a workshop on “Community Oriented Primary Care (COPC) in Maternal and Child Health (MCH)” from 29 November to 4 December 2011.

    Dr. Lisa Rubin and Dr. Ronit Calderon two experts from Israel conducted the training.  The aim of the course was to give exposure to the participants on issues of Maternal and Child health in relation to Community Oriented Primary Care. This was a follow up program of previous workshop on COPC with special focus on maternal and child health and also non-communicable diseases organized in September 2011.

    ​A total of 28 participants including doctors, nurses and medical students and included lectures, group work and field visits benefitted from the workshop.
