Baby Avita Nepal, age one, underwent a successful heart surgery in Israel on 06 March 2019, at the Edith Wolfson Medical Center, Pediatric Cardiology Unit, Israel, with the help of an Israel-based international humanitarian charity 'Save a child's heart' (SACH). She was suffering from a heart disease, congenital Rubella with Down's Syndrome.
Mr. Glenn Tamir and Mrs. Debby Tamir, associated with this charity, informed the Embassy that baby Avita is doing good and will be back to Kathmandu next week.
