On 1st June 1960, Nepal and Israel established diplomatic relationship. The landmark decision was taken by the two courageous leaders, Late David Ben-Gurion, first Prime Minister of Israel and Late B.P. Koirala, first Elected Prime Minister of Nepal. Both nations are enjoying friendly and productive bilateral relations in many fields that includes agriculture, health, education, technology among many others.

On this happy occasion, we would like to convey warm greetings and best wishes to the Governments of Nepal and Israel and the people of both nations. We hope for many more years of true friendship and partnership between the two countries.
