At Invest Hong Kong’s StartMeUpHK Venture Forum, held between December 2 and 7, Israeli start-up company IT Central Station, specializes in B2B social media platform for enterprise technology, was named one of the finalists of the 2013 StartmeupHK Venture Programme, the first global start-up contest designed and staged by InvestHK.
This InvestHK forum also invited Mr Jonathan Medved, a prominent Israeli entrepreneur and well-sought after speaker on the issues of Internet, investments and crowd-funding, to speak on how to build a vibrant startup ecosystem. Watch InvestHK video >>
Mr Medved was also a guest speaker at InnoAsia’s Hong Kong venture capital and angel investment conference, held between December 4 and 7 and organized by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks.
Another Israeli speaker of this conference was Mr Assaf Barnea, CEO of Kinrot Ventures, the leading seed investor in water technologies worldwide, which is privately held by Hutchison Water, in cooperation with the Israeli OCS (Office of the Chief Scientist). Hutchison Water, which acquired Kinrot Ventures in 2012, is a division of Hutchison Whampoa group.
