Moran Singers Ensemble to perform in HK

    ​Israel’s Moran Singers Ensemble will perform at the “Belt & Road Starry Concerts Series: Journey through the Māori Tribe to the Holy Land” in Hong Kong. 

    They are invited by the 2018 Belt & Road World Choir Festival as one of the three definitive and world-leading choirs as the festival’s ‘Resident Choirs’.
     

    The Ensemble, consists of Moran Choir graduates, outstanding musician, IDF soldiers, as well as students and graduates from various music academies, will present repertoire of ethnic style and modern music by young Israeli composers.


    In recent years, the Ensemble performed with highly recognized music groups such as the Kibbutz Chamber Orchestra, the Rishon Lezion Orchestra, the Tel Aviv Soloists Ensemble, the Israel Chamber Orchestra, the Jerusalem Camerata Orchestra and the Israeli Opera.

    UPDATE: At the opening ceremony of the 'Belt and Road World Choir Festival' in Hong Kong, Naomi Faran, Musical Director of Moran Choir, was presented the Lifetime Achievement Award for Choral Music.
