The Day of Commemoration for the Fallen Israeli Soldiers is a day of horrific unification. Big and small, north or south, right and left - all Israelis unite, silently witnessing the bereavement, orphanhood, widowhood, and grief.
Today, we stand here with our heads bowed down, our shoulders low, and we stop, for a moment, the race of life, the news about the coronavirus, and we think of those who were lost along the way, all those whom we had lost. Sons and Daughters. Fathers and Mothers. Husbands and Wives. Brothers and Sisters. Friends.
