​At the invitation of the Consulate General of Israel in Hong Kong, 9 members of the HKSAR’s Legislative Council ("LegCo") Panel on Commerce and Industry visited Israel from 23 to 27 July 2017, they are: Mr Wu Chi-wai (Chairman of the panel and delegation leader), Mr Paul Tse Wai-chun, Mr Ma Fung-kwok, Mr Charles Mok, Dr Lo Wai-kwok, Mr Chung Kwok-pan, Dr Helena Wong Pik-wan, Mr Alvin Yeung and Dr Junius Ho Kwan-yiu.

The purpose of this duty visit is for the members to study Israel's policies, initiatives and legislations relevant to the promotion of the development of innovation and technology ("I&T") industry as well as re-industrialization.  In addition, members of the delegation will also take the opportunity to meet and exchange views with relevant government authorities involved in the formulation, implementation and monitoring of policies on I&T, as well as representatives of technology transfer companies affiliated with leading universities, other high technology organizations and startups.

香港立法會議員訪問以色列

應以色列駐香港及澳門特別行政區總領事館的邀請，香港立法會工商事務委員會的九位議員於2017年7月23日至27日訪問以色列，包括胡志偉議員、謝偉俊議員、馬逢國議員、莫乃光議員、盧偉國議員及鍾國斌議員，以及黃碧雲議員、楊岳橋議員及何君堯議員。

是次職務訪問的目的是讓議員了解以色列政府在推動創新及科技產業發展，以及再工業化方面的相關政策、措施和法例。此外，訪問團成員亦可藉此機會與負責制訂、推行及監察創新及科技政策的相關政府機關，以及主要大學的相聯技術轉移公司、其他高科技機構和新創企業的代表會晤並交換意見。
