Celebrating the Abraham Peace Accords in Hong Kong

  •

The circle of peace in the Middle East expanded significantly last year since the signing of the historical peace agreements - the Abraham Accords - between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, and between Israel with Bahrain.

Morocco and Sudan followed shortly.  Together with Egypt and Jordan, Israel now has relations with six Arab countries.

To celebrate the International Women’s Day and the normalization of relations, Consul General of Israel in Hong Kong Ahuva Spieler and Acting Consul General of UAE in Hong Kong Ms Mariam Alshamsi will talk about the importance of the Abraham Accords and the new opportunities in the Middle East and Asia at a panel discussion organised by Asia Society of Hong Kong and the Jewish Women's Association in Hong Kong on Thursday, March 4, 2021, at 6-7:00pm.

The conversation will be moderated by Robert Dorfman and hosted at the Asia Society Hong Kong Center.

We invite you to join us at this event online via Asia Society’s platform.
