Israel Cycling Academy in HK

    ​Israel's first and only professional cycling team - Israel Cycling Academy – was in Hong Kong on October 14 to compete in the Hammer Series Race in Hong Kong Cylothon.

    There is no other team in the world like Israel Cycling Academy. It’s the world's most diverse team, consists of 24 pro athletes, from 16 nationalities and 3 religions. The team showed that sports has the power to bring people from different cultures, religions and backgrounds together.



    They had a wonderful time in Hong Kong enjoying both the race and meeting Hong Kong’s top cyclists Cheung King-lok and Leung Chun-wing, who as a team have just won gold in the men's madison competition at the 2018 Asian Games, and students at Elsa High School.



    Israel hosted the Big Start race of Giro d'Italia, the world's second largest bicycle race, this past May. It was the largest sports event in the history of Israel and a celebration of the State of Israel’s 70 years of independence.

    Israel Cycling Academy 是以色列第一隊專業單車隊，24名職業運動員由來自16個國家和3個宗教的單車手所組成，希望透過體育將來自不同文化、宗教、背景的人們凝聚一起。

    在首次來港期間，Israel Cycling Academy 隊員很高興與剛為香港赢得2018雅加達亞運場地單車男子麥迪遜賽金牌的張敬樂和梁峻榮見面，及到香港猶太教國際學校與學生交流。

    今年五月以色列舉辦了2018環意大賽海外首站的賽事，是以色列歷史上規模最大的體育賽事，也是以色列今年立國70年的慶祝活動。
