Israeli companies won major Smartphone Apps awards

    ​Israeli companies won the Grand Award and other major awards of all three categories at the Asia Smartphone Apps Contest 2016.  
     
    The Asia Smartphone Apps Summit cum Award Presentation Ceremony is an annual event organized by Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association (WTIA). Sponsored by Create Hong Kong of the HKSAR Government, the summit brings together leading figures in the industry to share their insights and experiences in the fast-growing technology world.
     
    The awarding-wining Israeli companies and their app titles are:
     
    Tekoia Ltd’s SURE Universal won the prestigious Grand Award and the Gold Award in Advertising and Marketing categories.

    The Grand Award winner SURE Universal is a FREE universal remote control app. It supports over 1 million appliances from TVs, cable boxes and air-conditioners, to smart TVs, media streamers, Philips Hue lights and security cameras. Tekoia develops SURE -- Software Universal Remote platform for the Connected Home market, digital media and the Internet of Things (IoT). The SURE Platform consists of the SURE Universal smartphone remote and SURE Cloud data services.     Castle Builders (IL) Ltd.’s Bookclip won Gold Award in the Games and Edutainment category.

    Keshet Media Group’s Room and a half also received Certificate of Merits in this category. 
     
    E.SOOF’s BAZZ won the Silver Award in the Creative Lifestyle category.
