7 Israeli films at the HK Jewish Film Festival

    The 14th Hong Kong Jewish Film Festival will feature 21 films from around the world, in which 7 are from Israel, exploring the concept of family, a theme sure to resonate with Hong Kong audiences.

    The festival will run from November 16 to 24, with many of the films having their regional premiere available only at the festival, at AMC cinemas at the Pacific Place in Admiralty, Hong Kong. 
     
    The 7 Israeli titles are:
     
    Big Bad Wolves
    Igor and the Cranes' Journey
    Orchestra of Exiles
    Out In the Dark
    Shtisel
    Watermarks
    The World Is Funny
     
    Some of the films will be Holocaust themed, and will also be shown at local schools to spread the message of tolerance and understanding of other cultures.
     
    All the films will be presented either in English or will have English subtitles, and six of the films will also have Chinese subtitles.
