The Jerusalem Quartet

Considered one of the great string ensembles of this generation, the Jerusalem Quartet, continue to be both regular and popular visitors to major venues throughout the world. And it will be Hong Kong this time.
Born in Tel Aviv in 1979, Inon Barnatan started playing the piano at the age of three after his parents discovered he had perfect pitch, and he made his orchestral debut at eleven. He has now rapidly gained international recognition for engaging and communicative performances that pair insightful interpretation with impeccable technique.
Other Jewish artist performing in the festival include: Hélène Grimaud (piano), Michael Guttman (violin), Toby Hoffman (viola), Denis Kozhukhin (piano) and Haylie Ecker (violin).
The HKICMF has become a cultural landmark in Hong Kong since it was launched in 2009, showcasing world class musicians performing diverse repertoire in the city’s major concert halls and its smaller boutique venues.
Six concerts will be presented at Hong Kong City Hall and The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, featuring repertoire ranging from chamber music classics to jazz standards.
