    The Minister of Education of the State of Israel Mr. Gideon Sa’ar has announced the recipients of the 2010 Wolf Prizes in the fields of Medicine, Physics, Mathematics and Agriculture.

    Prof. Yau Shing-tung, Harvard University, US, and Professor of Mathematics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, is one the two recipients of the 2010 Wolf Prize in Mathematics. Prof. Yau is awarded for his work in geometric analysis that has had a profound and dramatic impact on many areas of geometry and physics.
