    Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely today (Tuesday, 17 November 2015) visited the Embassy of France in Tel Aviv and met with French Ambassador Patrick Maisonnave.
    DFM Hotovely inscribed the book of condolences and conferred with the ambassador regarding cooperation between Israel and France in the wake of the terror attacks in Paris.
     
    Expressing deep condolences to the ambassador, DFM Hotovely said:
     
    "The State of Israel stands shoulder to shoulder with France in the fight against terror. The people of Israel in their entirety mourn with the people of France following the terror attack that transpired last Friday night. The entire world is awakening to the reality of Islamic terrorism, which is motivated by an ideology that challenges the very foundations of the free world."
