At the 8th edition of Digital Life Design, trendy Rotchild Boulevard has been transformed into “Innovation Boulevard” for some 10 000 participants to enjoy 3D effects, science fiction, and augmented reality all night long.
At the “Urban Happening & Innovation Blvd”, entrepreneurs exhibited their projects mixing drone shows with virtual reality and connected smart cars.
Named, the geekiest day of the year in Israeli tech, DLD is a very exciting event for the industry.
High tech professionals, entrepreneurs and investors from Israel and abroad joined the festival. Participants enjoyed a broad range of conferences and share their experience about innovation, digital media, science and culture.
Among them, Yossi Vardi, known in Israel as the godfather of the Israeli tech, the urban legend of innovation. Chairman of DLD’s event, he participated in the creation of over 60 high-tech companies, and is one of Israel's earliest entrepreneurs and pioneer of instant messaging.
The event welcomed 110 delegations from across the world and over 100 Startups presenting their ideas. Participating companies included Airbnb, Amazon, Facebook, Google, Intel, IBM, Microsoft, PayPal and dozens of others.
DLD global conference network is organized by Munich based DLD Media and took place this year in many other countries such as Belgium, United States and Germany. Next month DLD will inaugurate the first conference in Singapore.
