    In the past few months, several important events took place in Brussels and abroad to celebrate the successful partnership between the Abraham Accords countries.

    The events emphasized the growing interest and involvement of the EU in the Abraham Accords and the Negev Forum platform through projects and initiatives. This shows the great role of the EU in fostering meaningful cooperation and understanding between Israel and its partners in the region.

     

    Brussels, December 12th, 2023 - Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union special celebration to mark 2 years to the Abraham Accords.
    During the event, Commissioner Varhelyi announced the allocation of 10 million euros to support the Abraham Accords projects.  

    Brussels, March 2th, 2023 - 1st seminar with think tanks from Israel, Morocco and Bahrain at NATO HQ aiming to explore the possibilities of cooperation in the framework of the Abraham Accords.

    Morocco, March 2th, 2023 – First EU-Israel-Marocco water dialogue on trilateral cooperation projects. New EU facility in support of the Abraham Accords to finance the design and implementation of such projects.

    Brussels, March 8th, 2023
     – European Coalition for Israel policy conference on how Europe could become more involved in the normalization process in the Middle East.

    Brussels, March 29th, 2023 -  EJCC – European Jewish Community Center - Iftar dinner celebrating Ramadan and the Abraham Accords.
