Min Katz & John Kerry promoting Prosperity Green

  •   Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Member of Knesset Israel Katz, met with the Special Presidential Envoy for Climate Affairs, former Secretary of State John Kerry, this Friday in Jerusalem.

    ​The meeting between the two was held pursuant to a telephone call the two had this Monday discussing, among other things, the promotion of the Prosperity projects; "Prosperity Green" to purchase electricity from Jordan, and "Prosperity Blue" to sell water to Jordan, leading up to the COP28 climate conference in Dubai in the end of the year.

    Minister Katz and Presidential Envoy Kerry also discussed strategic cooperation among the State of Israel, The U.S., the U.A.E. and Jordan.

    Also present at the meeting were C.E.O. of the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, Koby Blitstein, Chairman of the Electricity Authority, Amir Shavit, Prosperity Agreement Project manager and retired Lt. General Asher Ben Lulu, and professionals from the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure.
