The main functions of the WHO Executive Board are to agree upon the agenda for the World Health Assembly and the resolutions to be considered, implement the decisions and policies of the Health Assembly, and advise and generally to facilitate its work.
The Executive Board of the World Health Organization is composed of 34 elected members, representing each WHO Region.

Israel, as a member of the Executive Board of the World Health Organization, actively takes part in the discussion of the EB148.
