Joining the delegation were Senator Peter Welch (D-VT), Senator Gary Peters (D-MI), Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA), Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV), Senator Jack Reed (D-RI), Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR), and U.S. Ambassador to Israel Tom Nides.

President Herzog thanked the delegation for their unwavering support of Israel, including through funding for the Iron Dome anti-missile defense system and in the struggle against Iran and its nuclear program, which is the core threat to the region.

In their conversation, the President also underscored the importance of the unbreakable bond between Israel and the United States of America, based on shared values.

At their meeting with the Prime Minister, Mr. Netanyahu stressed the importance of the bipartisan ties between Israel and the US. They discussed the struggle against Iran, as well as the Abraham Accords and the possibilities for expanding them.

Also attending that meeting were Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, the Prime Minister's Chief-of-Staff Tzachi Braverman, National Security Council Director Tzachi Hanegbi, and US Ambassador to Israel Thomas Nides.​
