Israel participates in UNCAC Conference

  •   Israel attends Anti-Corruption Convention convene in Vienna

    ​Representatives from the State Attorney's Office and from the Office of Legal Counsel and Legislative Affairs, within the Israeli Ministry of Justice, have joined lately the Conference of the Parties of the UN Convention against Corruption (UNCAC). The Conference took place in the UN headquarters in Vienna, Austria. 

    Being the widest legally binding universal anti-corruption instrument, the conference focused on 5 main factors being: preventive measures, criminalization and law enforcement, international cooperation, asset recovery, and technical assistance and information exchange.

    The representatives successfully represented Israel on a panel on international cooperation, in the main areas mentioned above.​
