If there is one
place in Israel that shows the country's immense cultural diversity, it's the
IDC International Radio station. With students from over 80 countries who speak
almost as many languages, the only international college radio station in Israel
is a hub of global voices.
Broadcasting from the cutting-edge
radio
studios of the Sammy Ofer School of Communications, the radio is run by
students, who host, produce and edit quality shows on a wide variety of
subjects.
These international students, who live in Israel, are able to
infuse a unique global perspective into their knowledge of Israeli life,
culture, current affairs, music and more. In short, they are sharing their
experience on life in Israel with the world.
The radio reaches global
audiences by partnering with college and Jewish radio stations around the world.
The IDC International Radio creates special one-off programs for its
international partners, as well as regular weekly programs.
The radio's
goal is to become a central place for Jews in Israel and Jewish audiences around
the world to meet, interact, learn and have a good time, while listening to
shows on music, culture, current affairs, sports, humor and Judaism.
With its unique resources and drive to spread the word about what’s
really going on in Israel, the IDC International Radio produces content that is
fun, honest, down-to-earth and insightful.
