​Consul General Roey Gilad and Mrs. Nitza Gilad, hosted the Israeli Consulate’s 3^rd Annual Faculty Forum at their home on the evening of October 15, 2015.   An esteemed group of about 35 professors came together to hear keynote speaker, DePaul President, Father Dennis Holtschneider, speak about managing conflicts on a diverse campus such as DePaul University. Father Holtschneider discussed the myriad of challenges he has encountered during his time at DePaul, as students respond and figure out their stance on all aspects of society and the current happenings around the world. He also discussed the philosophy DePaul uses in determining responses. Attendees asked questions and shared experiences from their campuses. The Consulate was thrilled to have representatives from  schools across Illinois, including DePaul University, Elmhurst College, Loyola University in Chicago, Northeastern University, Northwestern University, University of Chicago, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, University of Illinois Chicago.
