DCG and Famous Israeli Writer Visited SPPH

    On the afternoon of May 25th, Uri Zirinski, Deputy Consul General of Israel in Chengdu, visited Sichuan People's Publishing House with famous Israeli author Roey Tzezana who is also a brilliant futurist and Culture Assistant Yi Piao.
    Vice president of the publishing house Li Zhenzhen hosted the communication conference. At first, she introduced to guests the overall situation of publishing, copyright trade and cooperation with overseas publishing companies of the institution, then expressing their keen interest in introducing Israeli books into china and recommending Chinese press to Israel, they would be also expecting collaborative potential between both sides.
    Subsequently, Mr. Uri presented cultural exchanges between China and Israel and expressed wishes that this meeting would become an opportunity for Israeli cultural industry developing in-depth cooperation with Sichuan People's Publishing.
    Next, professor Roey Tzezana introduced his works and composing background. As a universally recognized futurist, Prof. Roey has graduated from Singularity University, owning more than ten years of experience in forecasting and trend analysis as well as market research. He has been dedicating to using knowledge and experience into prospective and strategic planning researches.
    Prof. Roey used to be the academic director of the future research project of the School of Business in Tel Aviv University in Israel, and also has taught in many universities and institutes around the world. At present, he is a researcher in Robotics Institute of Human Center of Brown University, and a senior academic consultant for several future research projects and a technology consultant for several innovative enterprises. At the same time, he is a best-selling author whose representative called Leading Future triggered the public's concern about the impact of high technology on the future society.
    After the introduction stage, senior editors of the Editorial Center and the copyright commissioners of the copyright department of the Sichuan people's Publishing House actively exchanged visitors in conversation about possibilities of cooperation and demand for copyright introduction and output.
    Under the witness of officers from Consulate General, Sichuan People's Publishing House deeply communicated with guests on frontier knowledge related to future science and outstanding copyright outcomes. Two books were selected for further discussion and the next step would be in the evaluation and translation phase. Both sides would take this event as a starting point to establish a long-term relationship, jointly promote cultural exchanges and mutual trust in publishing between China and Israel, and write a new chapter in the composition of friendship between Sichuan and Israel.
