On March 29th, the Consul General of the Israel in Chengdu was invited to the Talent Center of Sichuan Province, and the Star Forum, hosted by the Sichuan provincial talent office, shared on the topic of the "innovative spirit of Israel" and "Israel – China innovative comprehensive partnership". More than 200 people including cadres from the party and the governmental administrations, innovative entrepreneurs in the province and university students attended in the event.
"Innovation is actually an ecosystem, combined with many elements, such as culture, education, government support, and so on. Through the accumulation of time and the renewal of the elements, the system works well and develops well." Amir Lati, Consul General, shared the source of Israel's innovation spirit from four aspects: emphasis on education, emigration country, geographical location and government support.
He said that in Israel, there is a good connection between the academy and the market, and that every university has business cooperation to transform the theory into products, which will further promote the good efficiency of the innovation technology in Israel.
"Israel has advanced technology but limited market, while China has huge market potential and urgent need of innovative technology, which makes the relationship between China and Israel increasingly close, then built a comprehensive and innovative partnership between Israel and China consequently," Amir Lati said.
