Please note that local authorities have a policy that travelers entering China on international flights will be required to undergo self-funded medical examinations. Travelers arriving from abroad will be transported to designated locations for 14 days quarantine and sometimes family members will be separated and transported to various inpatient facilities. The cost is self-funded.

Following the World Health Organization (WHO) declaration of an international emergency in the context of the Corona virus, Israeli citizens are advised not to fly to China until the emergency or other announcements is completed.

The Foreign Ministry wishes to emphasize that the Israeli delegations in China - (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu and the Hong Kong Representative) continue to act despite the emergency and provide urgent service to Israeli citizens only by prior arrangement.
