MEDinISRAEL 2017 Held in Tel Aviv

    ​The 4th MEDinISRAEL Conference and Exhibition was held in Tel Aviv, Israel, from 6th March to 9th.

    MEDinISRAEL 2017 is initiated and organized by The Israel Export Institute in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and Industry, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

    Various advanced technologies were showed during the conference and exhibition, such as wearable devices and mApps, artificial intelligence, sensitive data protection from the Israeli cyber community, on-site diagnostic tools, virtual and augmented reality training, treatment and rehabilitation, technologies to drive hospital efficiency, and multi-disciplinary manufacturing solutions.

    This conference was the largest since its inception, and nearly 200 visitors from China attended it.

    Through our invitation, fourteen enterprises, one hospital and one government delegation from Southwest of China attended the 4th MEDinISRAEL. Mr. Xu Qin, Vice Mayor of Guiyang City, led business delegation from Guiyang City to participate in the opening ceremony of the conference on 7th,  March and visited the exhibition hall.

    Consul-General Lan Tianming received interview with CCTV at the exhibition. He introduced the increasingly frequent and in-depth exchanges and cooperation between the Southwest of China and Israel in the medical field.

    Israel is the world's leading innovator, and the Israeli medical industry has been steadily developing through the past decade, comprehensively applying innovations and inventions into medical practice. Today, Israel has more than 1,200 medical companies, and 34% of them have achieved revenue growth in a relatively short period of time. Entrepreneurial environment in Israel provides good opportunities for start-up companies to develop and have a business future.

    In medical industry, Israel is recognized as an innovative medical pioneer and is committed to leading the development and transformation of hospitals, home care, and emergency first aid. Scientists and engineers in Israel apply advanced electronic, communication, optoelectronic and other technologies into the development of world-class digital imaging, medical laser, telemedicine, early diagnosis, and intelligent surgical instruments.
