The Third Mashav Project Launched in Ya'an

    ​On December 23, 2016, Amir Laty, CG of Consulate-General of Israel in Chengdu, participated in the close meeting celebrating for the third Mashav program successfully fulfilled in Ya’an. Dr. Brin, Israeli expert on joint disease had conducted training and guidance for local doctors for the past several days.
    Amir Laty said, Ya’an is the Sichuan city he visited most frequently since the Israeli consulate in Chengdu was established in 2014. It was the third time that Israeli Mashav program landed in Ya’an. Amir Laty sincerely invited Ya’an doctors and medical professionals visit Israel for exchanges and studies in the future.
    After the meeting, Amir Laty interviewed the candidates who applied for being trained in Israel in spinal disease.  We expected  wider and deeper cooperation between Ya’an and Israel in the future.
