Gonsul General Met Deyang Mayor

    ​December 21, Amir Laty, Consul General of the Consulate General of Israel in Chengdu, met with Mr. Zhao Hui, Vice Secretary of Deyang Municipal Party Committee and Deyang Mayor, discussing on broadening cooperation areas, deepening cooperation mode and realizing mutual benefit.
    Zhao Hui, on behalf of Deyang Municipal Party Committee and Government, warmly welcomed Israeli CG. He introduced Deyang and national high-tech zone. Deyang High-tech Zone in 2015 was titled national hi-tech zone. Zho Hui expressed his expectation that Deyang National High-tech Zone and Israel could cooperate more in biomedicine and medical equipment industries in the future, hoping to introducing more Israeli enterprises come to Deyang.
    Amir Laty, Consul General extended his gratitude to Deyang municipal government for the warm reception and said that this was his fifth visit to Deyang. Deyang, as one of the important cities in Sichuan Province, is one of the key cities of Israel's cooperation with Sichuan. Israel and Deyang in many areas have broad potential for cooperation. He sinerely invited Zhao Hui and other Deyang young to visit Israel.
    After the meeting, Consul General Lan Tianming attended the International Symposium on "Prospect 2017: A New Round of Scientific and Technological Revolution and the Future of China Hi-tech Zone" and gave a keynote speech entitled "Israeli Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Investment".
