Chengdu-Israel Workshop on Emergency Mangement

    ​       From 19 to 23 December 2016, jointly organized by the Consulate General of Israel in Chengdu, Health and Planning Commission of Chengdu, and Chengdu First Aid Command Center, "Chengdu - Israel Workshop on Health Emergency Management" would be held in Chengdu.
    More than 100 professionals and staffs from health and planning bureaus of municipality, counties and districts, municipal hospitals, Chengdu First Aid Command Center, Chengdu Blood Center, etc., participated in the training. The 5-day project, conducted by Israeli experts, would provide a systematic training including emergency response, strategic decision-making, site control, inter-departmental collaboration, emergency reserves, potential risk management and other aspects, aiming to improve emergency response capability and expand emergency management vision of local professionals.
    Israel has rich experience in dealing with disasters and has set up a scientific and efficient emergency response system. Health and Planning Commission of Chengdu has established long-term cooperation mechanism with Israel since 2015.
