Israel Participates in SC Agricutural Exhibition

    Journalist interviewed consul general of Israel in Chengdu Mr. Amir Lati. Having studied in Peking university and worked in Shanghai,  Mr. Amir Lati spoke with fluent Chinese . He expressed the hope that through agriculture expo he can bring advanced modern agriculture from Israel to Sichuan.

    Consul general of Israel in Chengdu: to establish contact is more important than investment
    Signing ceremony of Chengdu modern agriculture investment projects was held at international conference center of century city on 20th Nov. in the ceremony, 16 big projects were signed, it covers three areas: characteristic planting industry, Agriculture Sightseeing Tourism and food processing. It reaches amount of 1.703 billion yuan. As journalists know, in this session of agriculture expo, 48 projects were signed, reaching the amount of 9.288billion yuan.
    On the 2nd day of 3rd Sichuan agriculture expo, journalist interviewed consul general of Israel in Chengdu Mr. Amir Lati. Having studied in Peking university and worked in Shanghai,  Mr. Amir Lati spoke with fluent Chinese . He expressed the hope that through agriculture expo he can bring advanced modern agriculture from Israel to Sichuan.
     “Only 1% of population in Israel is farmer, but they provide eggs and milk, fruits and vegetables for all people. “On 20th Nov, Consul general of Israel in Chengdu Amir Lati told journalists.
    Consulate general of Israel in Chengdu was established only one year ago, it is also the first time to attend the agriculture expo, but there are huge space for cooperation between Israel and Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan and other southwestern provinces in China.
    Mr. Amir Lati thought, at this moment, the more important thing is to establish the contacts, to be partner with Sichuan governmental organizations and enterprise; also he warmly welcomed companies from Sichuan to visit Israel.
