On 9th Nov, co-hosted by Bureau of Foreign Affairs (Ministry of Culture), Consulate General of Israel in Chengdu, and Chongqing Municipal Culture Commission, the 3rd Israel Modern Choreography Master Class opened in Chongqing Ballet Theater.
2 Israeli choreographers, Maria Barrios and Yoram Karmi, would conduct 5-day training for more than 70 participants from all over the nation. The course would include modern dancing technique, sound and body movement, extemporaneous practice, classical ballet, etc. It was expected to combine Chinese dance element with modern dance technique.
Israeli choreographers win prestigious reputations worldwide for their outstanding performances in modern dance field. This cultural exchanges event aims to development modern dance performance in China especially in SW China.
