​The Third China-Israel Science & Technology Innovation Investment Summit was held on June 27th-28th in Zhuhai. Consul General of Israel in Chengdu Amir Lati was invited to attend and made a keynote speech themed as “Israel & Belt and Road”.

Amir Lati said this year is the 25th anniversary of the establishment of China-Israel diplomatic relationship,  On March 21, 2017, President Xi Jinping met at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, announcing to establish bilateral innovative comprehensive partnership. Now plenty of Chinese enterprises have invested in Israel. Israel also pays great emphasis on Belt and Road initiative and hopes to deepen exchanges under B&R framework.

Amir Lati also said this event was successful, and it offered Chinese and Israeli companies a platform to better know each other. the event attracted thousands of Chinese and Israeli enterprise leaders, investment institutions and government representatives to attend, which led to over billions of proposed investments. Israeli government supports cooperation and exchanges among enterprises from two countries.

He also welcomed both Chinese and Israeli enterprises to come to Sichuan and attend 5th China (Mianyang) Science and Technology City International High-Tech Expo.
