​On 2nd Dec, Yan Jun, a professor in Chengdu University, got the first Israeli 10-year visa in SW China, issued by Consulate General of Israel in Chengdu.

Prof. Yan is an old friend of Israel, who had completed her master and PhD degrees in Ben Gurion University. Since back to China, Prof. Yan has become an Israeli “folk ambassador” to China. By now she has sent more than 10 students to Israel for further study as recommender and contrubuted to several academic program cooperation. “Studying in Israel changes the life of my students, and my students are also highly thought of by Israeli universities. The 10-year visa is of great bridge to close people from China and Israel in many ways.”
