8. - 10th February, 2022, Pronea Hackathon took place under the auspices of the Embassy of the State of Israel in Slovakia.
During 48 hours of continuous work, 8 teams tried to conquer the assignments addressing urgent issues of the Upper Nitra region.
In cooperation with elected representatives, Pronea project strives to transform the Upper Nitra region into a place where it is worth to live, work and bring up children and where innovative education is a core value.
We believe that the Pronea concept will have positive impact far beyond the borders. Pronea is already a part of international projects and the reason for the relocation of young families. Therefore, the Israeli Embassy decided to support the Pronea Hackathon event, which brings together high school and university students and successful Slovak entrepreneurs.
Slovak businessmen and businesswomen mentored young talents and provided them with valuable know-how in the field of intelligent technologies, environment and health care. We are very pleased that Israeli experts, Ionathan Lazovski and Yuval Shem-Ur took part in the event.
The participating teams presented their solution to expert jury, and the winning project was an idea that would help young people choose the path of their future. The winners received a financial reward and the opportunity to implement their solution in the region.
Pronea Hackathon is an opportunity to start a career with big players in the market and help improve the region of Upper Nitra - a region that has flourished in the time of Tomáš Baťa. We can't wait for the sequel of the hackathon!
