​The Ambassador of Israel in Slovakia, H.E. Alexander Ben-Zvi, and Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic, Mr. Tomáš Malatinský, signed on June 27, 2013 a bilateral Agreement between the Government of the State of Israel and the Government of the Slovak Republic on cooperation industrial research and development.

The agreement represents basis for launching cooperation of Israeli and Slovak entities in the area of industrial and technological research and development with the aim of joint development of new and innovative products, commercialized on global markets.

The agreement, which represents the opportunity for mutual cooperation of entities from both countries in areas like hi-tech, innovations, and other sectors with higher added values, brings a new dimension to the mutual trade relations of Israel and Slovakia.
