President Herzog visiting Slovakia

    ​30 years of diplomatic relations between Slovakia and Israel celebrated by the visit of the President of the State of Israel.
    As part of his official visit, H.E. Isaac Herzog met with the President of the Slovak Republic, H.E. Zuzana Čaputová. In addition to discussions on climate neutrality, they talked about strengthening the trade and cooperation in the field of science, defense, IT and new technologies. Re-opening of the flight connection and the push towards more tourism as well as the possibilities of importing gas from Israel were addressed.
    At a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, H.E. Ľudovít Ódor, they discussed energy, research projects and cooperation in the field of security.
    President Herzog also met with representatives of the Jewish community in Slovakia and visited the Chatam Sofer Memorial.
