Summer Olympics in Tokyo

    Swimmer Yaakov Tomarkin and triple jumper Hannah Knyazeva-Minenko will carry the Israeli flag and lead the 89-member Israeli delegation to the Olympic Stadium at the opening ceremony in Tokyo.
     
    For the first time ever, Israel will be represented by an equestrian team and will compete in archery.

    Gymnast Linoy Ashram is said to be a national hope for winning the medal, but
    Israel is represented by so many succesfull sportmen that we hope for many more prescious metals.
     
    Israel will compete in archery, athletics, badminton, baseball, cycling (road and mountain), horse riding, gymnastics (artistic and rhythmic), judo, sailing, shooting, surfing, swimming (artistic, competitive and open water) , taekwondo and triathlon.

    Summer Olympic Games will feature 5 new sports - surfing, sport climbing, karate, baseball, skateboarding and will open competition in 15 new disciplines.
     
    There is definitely something to look forward to. Spectators were not allowed due to pandemics, but we believe all the sportsmen and sportswomen will feel the great support of their fans.
