Israel has a lot to offer in terms of innovation and thinking out of the box. As we see the potential of innovators in Slovakia, we decided to organise an event Israel Innovation Guide together with FTRNW and tried to find out what are the pillars of Israeli success and if it could be replicated to Slovak entrepreneur/innovators environment.
FutureNow is a non - profit event platform gathering innovative thinkers, startups, tech enthusiasts and wider audience in Central Europe. Its mission is to help build a wider inclusive innovation ecosystem across the CEE and thus inspire people of all ages to become entrepreneurs and let's be honest...who is better inspiration than Israel?
Embassy of the State of Israel in Slovakia offered FRTNW a possibility to create program of one of the so called FTRNW Tuesdays - a project under Futurenow Conference - and thus promote Israeli innovation and publication of Avi Jorisch Thou Shalt Innovate: How Israeli Ingenuity Repairs the World, that has been translated to Slovak recently and will reach bookstores in the next days.
FTRNW Tuesdays refers to series of weekly after-work community gatherings in HubHub(co-working space). Each and Every FTRNWTuesday is devoted to a topic related to innovation, smart cities and technology. It is aimed at Slovak entrepreneur environment and its goal is to boost the cooperation of all the sectors, in order to help innovation grow in Slovakia. It is a selection of interesting presentations, workshops, discussions and much more open to wide public and promoted on social media channels.
The professional team of FutureNow led the discussions with H.E. Zvi Vapni, Ambassador of the State of Israel, Lenka Surotchak from Pontis Foundation, Richard Cedzo from Aleph Publishing House as well as talented Slovak innovators Bohumil Pokstefl -CEO of Kontentino, Ondrej Sluka - Director of Sales & Marketing at Uavonic and Akos Haramia - COO at FiiHaa Engineering.
