Dozens of wreaths dedicated to the memory of victims of Holocaust and racial violence appeared at the Holocaust Memorial on Rybné námestie this year.
Due to epidemiologic situation in Slovakia, this year we had to honor the victims of this unprecedented horror without the traditional ceremony.

Despite that, our diplomats organized a small commemoration attended by the whole embassy team.

We met at the Holocaust memorial, read the names of the victims, laid a wreath and devoted and spent minutes in silence.

We can't bring these people back or undone this horrible episode in human history, but we can make sure that something like this never happens again.

Our wreath was not the only one at the monument. Our deepest gratitute to all, who did not forget and honored the victims.
