Making history" is the motto of the prepared peace agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates. The importance of this treaty is tremendous and strongly supports the stability and prosperity of the whole region of Middle East.
Telephone lines were unblocked, new destination appeared at Ben Gurion Airport, and on August 31st, the first Israeli and American delegation flew to Abu Dhabi (via Saudi Arabia!) to discuss economic cooperation and civil aviation deals.
This peace process is strogly supported by the city councils and the people of both countries.The flag of the United Arab Emirates and the flag of Israel were both displayed on the building of the Tel Aviv Municipality as a sign of a common future and mutual support.
The normalization of relations between countries also occurs in the business sphere and innovations, as evidenced by the participation of J.E. Al Hashimi (Head of Innovation Strategy in UAE) at the famous DLD festival.
Another important milestone is the visit to the Holocaust Museum in Berlin, where Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas and UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed paid tribute to the victims of the Holocaust.
The peace agreement between Israel and the UAE was approved by the cabinet of Prime Minister Netanyahu unanimously. It is the first peace agreement in 25 years in which Israel has not given up any territory.
We can't wait for our friends from the United Arab Emirates to come visit us. Tel Aviv and its beaches are ready and we are already packing our bags and planning our trip to Dubai.
