GovXShortDescription
The Radio-Television
of Serbia’s culture programme crew visited Israel in May 2013 and had a chance
to get to know the vibrant Israeli cultural life and interview some of the
leading Israeli writers and artists. We truly hope that viewers of RTS 2, the second
program of the Serbian national TV station, will enjoy episodes of the TV serial
“Views of Israel” during this autumn.
The first
episode of the “Views of Israel” is taking us to the Israel Museum in
Jerusalem, the house of Israel's national poet Chaim Nachman Bialik, the Tel
Aviv Museum of Art and the Story Garden in Holon which is a unique park with sculptures
inspired by beloved children's books. Among those who are talking about the
Israeli culture and their work are famous novelist Judith Katzir, Israeli
diplomat and writer Dan Oryan, poet and author Ronny Someck, the director of
the Israel Museum James Snyder and many others. In the upcoming episodes, famous
Israeli authors David Grossman, Amos Oz and Meir Shalev will talk about their
work and about Israel.
Israeli
Embassy in Belgrade had a great pleasure to cooperate with members of the TV crew,
with culture programme editor and journalist Neda Valčić-Lazović, executive
producer Marija Bereta-Gavrilović and cameraman Slobodan Grče.
