This year, we will celebrate Chinese New Year on January 24. We would like to wish everyone a happy and prosperous new year of the rat!
On January 24, we also celebrate 28 years to the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Israel.
Israel was the first country in the Middle East to recognize the People’s Republic of China in 1950. Official diplomatic relations between China and Israel were established 28 years ago, on January 24, 1992. In March 2017, China and Israel announced the establishment of a Comprehensive Innovative Partnership. In October 2018, Chinese Vice President Wang Qishan visited Israel. This visit highlights the strong growth of Sino-Israeli relations and cooperation.
As we welcome the Chinese New Year, we wish the relations between China and Israel will continue to grow in the future.
For you information, the Embassy of Israel in Beijing will be closed for the Chinese New Year public holiday from January 24-28.
Happy Chinese New Year! 新春快乐!
