    The Israeli pianist Boris Giltburg will perform in the Forbidden City Concert Hall on December 2nd at 19:30. The recital will feature pieces by Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev and Tchaikovsky. The concert is a part of the Russian Music Gala Festival which will include 44 concerts that will be played around China by some of Israel's best musicians during 2012 and 2013 - Artistic director: Gil Shohat.

    Boris Giltbrug is one of Israel's most promising young pianists. He played with some of the best orchestras in the world. He was shortlisted for the Royal Philharmonic Society Young Artist Award 2008. In 2011 Giltburg won the second prize in the International Arthur Rubinstein Piano Master Competition, which is the highest achievement of any Israeli pianist in the history of this competition.
