The Embassy of Israel in collaboration with A.T.C. supply (1993) Co., Ltd. held an event today at Mercy Farm, in which an irrigation system from Israel was donated and installed.
Through this project, the underprivileged children at Mercy Centre will use Israel’s irrigation technology for growing their own crops such as sweet basil, kale, spring onion and many more in a small sustainable farm (1 rai).
The drip irrigation system from Israel, the world pioneer in drip and micro-irrigation technology, will increase water usage efficiency and increase crop yields. Israel's remarkable agricultural innovation has not only turned desserts into green fields, but also reduced world hunger.
