Surrounded by deserts, Israel has famously created a green, agricultural oasis out of its arid landscape. Since Israel’s independence in 1948, Israeli government and private sector have assertively worked on innovative water solutions through long-term planning, recycling, desalination, technology and conservation.
After introducing the world's first drip irrigation technology, the Israeli water industry is widely acknowledged as a world leader, especially with its innovative technologies in the areas of desalination, water treatment, green energy generation and water management and machinery.
In order to show how the latest state of the art in the field of waste-water technologies from Israel would enable Thailand to maximize, enrich and commercialize the water it has, “Treating, Managing and Creating Water – Israeli Innovative Solutions for the Challenges of a New World” seminar was held yesterday at Thai Water 2015, BITEC.
Israel Pavilion (booth Q1-6) at Thai Water 2015, during 3-6 June 2015, BITEC, also presents the perfect opportunity to discuss with leading companies and the Ministry of Economy from Israel, and consequently, learn about the new water-technological breakthroughs that the Israeli water industry has to offer.
“Thailand faces various water management challenges. This is an opportunity for Israel and Thailand to collaborate, share experience and knowledge. Therefore, every Thai person will be able to enjoy fresh and clean water whenever he and his family turn the tap on.” added Mr. Barak Sharabi, Commercial Attaché at the Embassy of Israel.
