    Early childhood educators play an important role in children's emotional and social development as well as provide a valuable support to families.
     
    Therefore, knowledgeable, experienced and insightful early childhood educators can have a positive influence on children’s learning by providing valuable educational and social experiences.
      
    Given the importance of early childhood education in the 21st century, Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation (MASHAV) in corporation with Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) and Suan Dusit University have organized an international seminar on “Construction Guidelines for Standards and Competency Framework of Early Childhood Education” on 21 July – 3 August, 2016 at Suan Dusit University.
     

     
    The aim of the seminar is to enhance the capacity of early childhood teachers and academic staff to successfully develop and employ the skills required for preparing children in the 21st century.
     
    Several participating countries include Cambodia, Laos, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
