Since Israel's early days, the country's climate and soil conditions have forced the country to come up with innovative agricultural solutions. Israel pioneered and led the concepts of drip irrigation, recycling, purifying and reuse of wastewater for agriculture purposes. Consequently, the conference serves as a platform to showcase agricultural technologies adapted to the changes in climate conditions, the amount of natural resources available and economic influences.

The hands-on study visit, organized by the Economic and Trade Mission, the Embassy of Israel in Thailand and Thai-Israel Chamber of Commerce, is one of the most powerful ways of learning and sharing agricultural expertise between the two countries.
