Israel and Germany will on Tuesday, 16 February 2016, in Berlin, hold their sixth G2G meeting - led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Chancellor Angela Merkel - including a series of discussions and the signing of bilateral agreements to continue strengthening relations between the two countries.
The inter-governmental consultations will focus on cooperation in security, cyber, technology, information and research and development, regulation, digitization, energy, future transportation, global social responsibility, health, medical technologies, links between the two societies, gender equality and other issues.
Jerusalem takes positive note of the progress that has been achieved since the previous consultation, which was held in Jerusalem on 25 February 2014.
The sixth Israeli-German G2G meeting indicates the depth and scope of bilateral cooperation on the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. Both sides agree that the past 50 years have been characterized by the constant strengthening of bilateral cooperation between all sectors of society.
