On August 19th, the world marks World Humanitarian Day, paying tribute to aid workers who risk their lives in humanitarian service.

In November 2016, Israel’s emergency medical response team has been recognized by the World Health Organization as the “No. 1 in the world” and classified as its first Type 3 field hospital.
